The Phoenix Theatre has made audiences laugh, cry, and think for more than 40 years in downtown Indianapolis. Today, our state-of-the-art Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre is home to seven resident theatre companies that deliver thought-provoking productions for numerous genres.

We’re proud that our Ignite Passion & Purpose Campaign – which supports new play development, Equity Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, career development, and ownership of our building outright – has already raised $5.2 million against a $6 million goal. It’s a testament to our heritage and the generosity of people across Central Indiana.
